The Front Desk Lead oversee staff which are the first person patrons see when entering the facility and should maintain a positive first impression for the Company and provide excellent customer service.
Job Duties
- Create the Front Desk Clerk schedule and maintain proper staff levels in accordance with the labor budget.
- Facilitate training for Clerks to include customer service, cash handling, POS systems, retail sales and inventory, facility cleanliness and EAP procedures.
- Report directly to Front Desk Coordinator
- Oversee daily performance of Clerks
- Conduct employee reviews for Clerks
- Make recommendations for facility schedules to FS and AFS.
- Ensure correctness of the facility website and notify if errors are found.
- Create documents to assist with facility operations to include signage, inventory sheets, staff folders, daily checklist organization, etc.
- Handle customer complaints and offer solutions to rectify concerns.
- Write and host Clerk in-services and audits.
- Facilitate and record Clerk disciplinary documents.
- Oversee smooth daily operations and provide support to staff where needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly front desk, management office and lifeguard room.
- Reconcile daily funds and guarantee accuracy of records.
- Secure small denominations of cash at local banking institutions for cash til and make daily deposits.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
- 1+ year of management experience required
- Ability to obtain food handlers card.
- Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts.
- Oriented toward serving others and helping customers.
- Strong customer-service skills.
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems preferred.
